Belarusian customs officers took part in the 30th meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the Member States to the Customs Union
The 30th meeting of the Joint Board of the Customs Services of the Member States of the Customs Union was held in Nizhny Novgorod today. The meeting was attended by the delegation of the Belarusian Customs Service headed by the Chairman of the State Customs Committee Yury Senko.
The participants summed up the work in 2018 of the working groups at the Joint Board of the Customs Services of the Member States of the Customs Union, and also reviewed the implementation of the decisions of the previous meeting.
The members reviewed a number of topical issues, including those related to the classification of certain types of goods in accordance with the single Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Eurasian Economic Union, law enforcement practice regarding the interaction of customs authorities authorized to make preliminary decisions on the classification of goods, with customs authorities authorized to conduct customs examinations. Considerable attention is also paid to the exchange of information on temporary imported vehicles for personal use between the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The next meeting is scheduled to be held in the Kyrgyz Republic in June 2019.
