Contract for international technical assistance project was signed by Brest customs and European Union
Brest customs and the Ministry of Investments and Economic Development of the Republic of Poland on behalf of the European Union signed a grant contract on the international technical assistance project "Improving the effectiveness of customs control at Domachevo road checkpoint.
The leading beneficiary of the project is Brest customs. The contribution of the European Union to Belarus will be about 228 thousand euros.
The implementation of this international technical assistance project involves the installation of weighing equipment at Domachevo checkpoint. The project will contribute to combating organized crime, suppressing attempts to violate customs legislation, strengthening security at the border.
As a result, it is expected to reduce the time of customs operations, as well as to improve the quality of customs control.
