Gomel customs stopped import of amphetamine into Belarus
Officers of Gomel customs stopped importation of amphetamine into the Republic of Belarus through Teryukha republican customs clearance point.
During the customs control of Odessa-Minsk passenger train, the customs officers found a transparent bag with a dark-brown substance in the technological room of one of the railroad cars. The substance was seized and sent for chemical examination to the Customs Laboratory.
According to the expert, the substance contains a particularly dangerous psychotropic amphetamine, the weight of which amounted to more than 35 grams.
Gomel customs conducts an investigation on the basis of Part 2 of Art. 328-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
Gomel Customs stopped 96 cases of illegal movement and storage of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, as well as drugs containing psychotropic substances in 2018.
