In the run up to the 2nd European Games, customs officers discussed the construction of customs infrastructural facilities
The customs bodies of the Republic of Belarus are actively preparing for the II European Games in 2019. In this context, several activities were undertaken, including fit checking of the checkpoints infrastructure to this great sport event. Decisions about reconstruction of separate checkpoints on the Belarus-Lithuania, Belarus-Poland and Belarus-Latvia borders have been made. The projects were approved and supported by the European Union.
With the purpose of discussing the modernization and taking decisions on further action, representatives of customs authorities held a seminar in Grodno on the design and construction of customs infrastructural facilities.
Customs officers discussed the organization of work on the objects under construction (in particular, on «Urbany», «Verkhny Terebezhov» and «Bruzgi» checkpoints), the construction accounting and the interaction of responsible departments in this field.
The participants organized a round table. Questions about organization of work on the design, reconstruction, modernization and reparation of customs infrastructural facilities were on the agenda.
Customs officers visited the checkpoint «Bruzgi» and got acquainted with the organization of customs control, the use of technical means of customs control and infrastructural facilities. To assess the work of the inspection complex, the participants also visited the checkpoint «Privalka».
