Pupils of 8 A class of one school of the city of Minsk obtained passports from the Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee Nikolai Svirid
Today the Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee Nikolai Svirid presented the passports of the citizen of the Republic of Belarus to the best students of 8 A class, future students of the customs class, secondary school No. 46. All of them are excellent students, participants of scientific conferences, winners and prize-winners of festivals, competitions and sports competitions.
The ceremony of presenting the first and most important document in life took place within the framework of the republican patriotic action “We are citizens of Belarus”, which this year is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.
The solemn activity was also attended by representatives of Minsk Regional Customs, the teaching staff of the school, the head and students of the “Customs Affairs” chair of the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University.
“Young citizens! Our republic has high hopes for you. And your task is to do everything possible to make the Motherland proud of you. I sincerely congratulate you on receiving an honorary status - a citizen of the Republic of Belarus,” Nikolay Svirid said.
Having received their first document on this holiday, schoolchildren feel part of our Belarusian society.
“Getting acquainted with the customs service, we are trying to improve important and necessary qualities as patriotism, dedication to duty and readiness to selflessly serve our Motherland. We believe that the students of our customs classes will try on a customs uniform in order to adequately continue the important and necessary work - service to the Fatherland, ”Lyudmila Zezetko, the school headmaster, said.
By the way, Minsk secondary school No. 46 is the first in the capital, on the basis of which the customs class was created. In total, there are 11 “customs classes” in the country today, where 232 schoolchildren are studying, in 3 more schools optional classes are organized.
