SCC Chairman took part in the 65th meeting of the Council of the Heads of Customs Services of the CIS member States
The Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Yury Senko, took part in the 65th meeting of the Council of the Heads of Customs Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Baku.
The participants of the event considered the need to introduce amendments and additions to international treaties regarding cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters, the order of transit through the territories of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as the customs clearance and customs control of goods moved between the States parties to the Agreement on the establishment of free trade area.
Besides, the customs officials discussed introduction of amendments to the Russian version of the 6th edition of the Harmonized System for the Description and Coding System, the unified Commodity Nomenclature for Foreign Economic Activity of the CIS, and the approval of the Russian version of the Explanatory Notes to the 6th Edition of the Harmonized System for Description and Coding System.
On the eve of the meeting, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan met with the Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee and the heads of customs services of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan
