A session of experts of the working group of the joint board of customs services of the Member States of the Customs Union was held in Minsk on November 9-10.
Delegations of the customs services of Belarus, Russia, Armenia and Kazakhstan took part in the session.
The customs officers discussed the issues of unifying the risk management system in the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union, practical and methodological issues related to customs control based on the risk management system.
The experts also got acquainted with the draft list of codes of goods of the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity.
In connection with the entry into force of the EAEU Customs Code on January 1, 2018, the participants discussed uniform approaches to conduct customs control in the EAEU Member States, including with regard to the customs value of goods issued before the submission of the customs declaration.
The parties agreed on an expert work plan for 2018.
