Three attempts of illegal movement of regulated products prevented by Gomel customs officers
Illegal import of three batches of regulated products of high phytosanitary risk from the Russian Federation was stopped by Gomel customs officers.
On the road near the Russian-Belarusian border, three trucks with wheat and wheat bran with a total weight of more than 100 tons were stopped.
In accordance with the legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union, each batch of regulated products of high phytosanitary risk, moved from the territory of one EAEU member state to the territory of another EAEU member state, is accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued by an authorized body of the state of departure.
There were no phytosanitary certificates for the transported goods. The total cost of the illegally transported wheat and wheat bran was 32 thousand Belarusian rubles.
Gomel customs conducts the check in accordance with Part 4 of Art. 12.17 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus.
