Two batches of fruit were moved through the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union without phytosanitary certificates
The mobile group of Operational customs stopped the movement of a Volvo and a MAN trucks during the special event on the territory of Gorodok district of the Vitebsk region.
There were more than 21 tons of Turkish pears and 21 tons of Polish apples in cargo compartments of the cars. The drivers provided invalid accompanying documents for the fruit. In addition, there were no phytosanitary certificates confirming the safety of the products.
The total cost of fruit and vegetable products was about 45 thousand rubles.
Operational customs initiated the administrative proceedings regarding the violation of the legislation in accordance with Part 4 of Art. 12.17 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.
