Within the framework of Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit, Heads of Customs Departments of Belarus and China signed Interaction Procedure and Roadmap
Within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Qingdao, the Chairman of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Minister of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China signed the Procedure for cooperation on mutual recognition of the authorized economic operators of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China, as well as the Roadmap for concluding an Agreement on mutual recognition of the status of an authorized economic operator.
The sides agreed to hold several stages of negotiations, the result of which will be the conclusion of the Agreement.
The customs authorities of Belarus and China will present certain special simplifications in the conduct of customs operations and customs control to authorized economic operators on a mutual basis.
While China has already concluded similar Agreements with a number of countries, for Belarus this is the first initiative that will help both to reduce the time and money spent by conscientious foreign trade participants and to optimize customs control.
