Brest customs officers at the national customs clearance point "Varshavsky bridge" revealed a batch of cosmetics, hidden in the car's caches.
A citizen of the Republic of Belarus was traveling from Poland in a FORD car. He chose a "green" corridor to pass the customs border, thus confirming that he had no goods to declare.
However, during the customs inspection, it was revealed that a 30-year-old resident of the Brest region hid 25 packages of an injection drug, intended for cosmetic purposes, in the hollow space of the subwoofer, dashboard and tool box.
The total estimated value of the undeclared product was 6 thousand Belarusian rubles. The goods and the vehicle were seized before the court decision.
Brest customs has started an administrative process in accordance with part 2 of article 14.1 of the administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.
In 2019, customs revealed 1,895 cases of goods moving with concealment from customs control. In fact, about 5 such cases are detected every day.
In January 2020, 305 such cases have already been established.
