Agreement on mutual recognition of the status of authorized economic operator will be signed in Beijing between the customs departments of Belarus and China
The agreement on mutual recognition of the status of authorized economic operator will be signed by the heads of the customs departments of the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China by the end of April. The project has already been approved by the parties.
The Agreement defines a number of facilitations that can be used by authorized economic operators of the Republic of Belarus of the third type and enterprises with a high level of trust of the People’s Republic of China on the territory of two states.
In addition, the implementation of the Agreement will increase the security of the supply chain from the sender to the recipient and simplify the legal trade between Belarus and China.
Work in this field has been going on since last year, when the Order of interaction between the customs departments of Belarus and China was signed, and the Road Map for the Agreement was approved.
It is important to note that since January 1, 2019, the position of the official representative of the State Customs Committee has been introduced at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the People’s Republic of China. The need for the position of a Belarusian customs officer in China is due to the active cooperation of two countries, including customs sphere.
