Belarusian customs has exceeded the projected figures for reducing the time of customs operations, established by the Strategy of customs authorities’ development for the first half of 2019.
The share of imported goods, which were issued by customs officers no more than two hours, was 74%. This figure is more than that for the same period in 2018 by 10.5%.
And the share of exported from the customs territory of the EAEU goods, the release time of which did not exceed 5 minutes, was 79% and exceeded the figure of last year by 14.5%.
Reducing the time of customs formalities helps to develop the foreign trade relations, to create a barrier-free environment for business and improve the investment climate.
In general, since the beginning of 2019 more than 56 million tons of goods have been moved across the customs border. If we compare with the same period in 2018, there is an increase in customs clearance of goods by 2.5%.
