Officers of Belarusian customs in the run-up to Independence Day were awarded with state awards and medals of the Eurasian Economic Union
Today, in the run-up to Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, Chairman of the State Customs Committee Yury Senko presented state awards to customs officers.
Thus, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus, for the exemplary performance of official duties, 25 officers were awarded with medals "For Impeccable Service" II and III degrees.
And 11 more representatives of the State Customs Committee were awarded awards of the Eurasian Economic Union - medals "For the contribution to the development of the Eurasian Economic Union."
In 2018, 97 customs officers were awarded state and government awards, and since the beginning of this year, 70 people have already been awarded state awards.
It should also be noted that on July 2, 2019, Anna Romanova, Head of the Department of Customs Operations and Control No. 2 of Gomel Customs, was awarded the honorary title “Person of the Year” in Gomel Region in the “Serving Fatherland” nomination.
Addressing the customs officials at the solemn meeting dedicated to Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus and the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, Chairman of the State Customs Committee Yury Senko noted that that day we, as a worthy continuation of our defenders, must conscientiously work for the good of our native country because the security of the state as a whole begins with the security of our borders.
