The number of representatives of business entities, who have been trained at the departmental Institute of customs authorities, in the current year is growing
More than 600 participants in foreign economic activity were trained at the departmental Institute of customs authorities in the first half of 2020. This figure is 30% higher than the same period last year.
Increasing the number of students was made possible by the effective use of distance learning and the use of video lectures. The distance form allowed us to apply the elements of individual work more widely, expand the opportunities for independent study of the program, specializing training for the needs of participants in international trade.
For example, webinars for customs clearance specialists were held on the topics of determining the country of origin, classifying goods in accordance with the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity, calculating customs payments, filling out a declaration for goods with benefits and some others.
In total, in the first half of 2020, the Institute has trained more than 1200 people, half of whom are foreign trade representatives, and the other half are customs officials.
By the way, the departmental Institute in June this year marked the 10th anniversary of its formation, six years of which representatives of the business community trains in it.
The educational institution has five departments in various areas of customs affairs and a customs laboratory.
