The procedure for conducting and controlling foreign trade operations has been improved
On June 1, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed decree No. 182, which amended certain provisions of decree No. 178 of March 27, 2008 "on the procedure for conducting and controlling foreign trade operations". This was reported to BelTA by the press service of the head of state.
In accordance with the document, the procedure for declaring goods for which customs operations are not performed has been simplified. In particular, it provides for filing a statistical declaration once a month for one or more shipments (deliveries) of goods under a foreign trade agreement, if the total cost is the equivalent of 3 thousand euros or more. Previously, such a declaration was submitted for an amount of 1 thousand euros or more no later than 7 working days from the date of shipment (receipt) of goods. In addition, the rule on periodic statistical declaration is excluded. In other words, instead of two documents (a statistical declaration and a periodic statistical declaration), one is presented - a statistical declaration.
The adoption of the decree will help reduce the costs of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs for the preparation of statistical declarations by customs representatives and the services of the National center for electronic services for the transmission of such declarations.
