A batch of fishing accessories in the assortment with a total value of almost 360 thousand rubles was intended to be illegally transported from Russia, hidden among the yarn. Among such goods were those produced in third countries, for which there was no information about the payment of customs duties upon importation into the territory of the EAEU.
The violation was established by Vitebsk customs officers during special operations on the Belarusian-Russian section of the border, where they stopped the movement of a Mercedes Benz truck.
The driver provided the documents for the yarn weighing about 800 kg. But he did not have any documents for more than 100 thousand pieces of fishing gear, which are also in the cargo hold.
For violating the order of transportation of goods, Vitebsk Customs began administrative proceedings against the Belarusian individual entrepreneur in accordance with Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.
The sanction of the article provides for the imposition of a fine in the amount of up to 50% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
