Customs service veterans from all regions of the country were welcomed today at the State Customs Committee

Veterans of the customs service from all regions of the country, who will celebrate their professional holiday on May 29, were greeted with deep respect and gratitude for their significant contribution to ensuring the economic security of the country today at the State Customs Committee.

Chairman of the State Customs Committee Vladimir Orlovsky told the older generations of customs officers how the Belarusian customs lives, noting the importance and necessity of their communication with young people, the transfer of invaluable experience, which forms the basis of the current achievements of the customs service.

Modern Belarusian customs is the result of professionalism, responsibility and competence, well-coordinated work and dedication of several generations of customs officers to their native country. Thank you for your conscientious work for the benefit of Belarus, the preservation and enhancement of traditions," Vladimir Orlovsky addressed the veterans, wishing them good health, kindness, prosperity and a peaceful sky on the eve of Veterans Day of the Customs Service.

The veterans got acquainted with the exposition of the unique exhibition "Customs Uniform. History through the Ages", organized jointly with the Belarusian State University and dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the customs authorities of the Republic of Belarus.

The exhibition features 13 iconic uniforms of customs officers who served in Belarus from the 12th century to the present.

After that, a sightseeing tour of Minsk was organized for veterans, visiting iconic places and sights of the Belarusian capital.
