Today, 70 customs officers of the Minsk region swore an Oath of allegiance to Motherland and Belarusian people in the State Flag Square of the Republic of Belarus. It is symbolic that the words of the solemn Oath were pronounced on a professional holiday - Customs Officer Day.
The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the State Customs Committee Yuri Senko, Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Vladimir Bulavin, Management of the customs of Minsk region, veterans of customs service, relatives and friends of the young inspectors.
On the eve of the Oath, officials were seriously tested: courses of initial training, probation and obtaining of the first rank.
Yuri Senko congratulated young colleagues on an important event and marked the interest of Belarusian customs in highly qualified personnel who know their job and strive to conquer the highest peaks. Yuri Senko also expressed confidence in the active participation of young employees in new projects and their significant contribution to the development of customs service.
Veterans of customs service wished the young specialists to continue with dignity the glorious traditions of the customs authorities and to serve our country with full dedication. Young inspectors assured in return to serve worthily and honestly, firmly defend the economic interests of Belarus.
