In the Volvo road train, which followed the territory of the EAEU through the checkpoint "Kozlovichi", Brest customs officers found a large batch of car parts, which the shipper "forgot" to specify in the documents .
Using the X-ray inspection system allowed to find violation of customs legislation. The result of the analysis of the obtained scan indicated the presence of goods in the cargo compartment of the vehicle, that were not declared in the accompanying documents.
Subsequent inspection confirmed this: 1320 units of "extra" spare parts were moved in the cargo compartment, in addition to specified auto parts. Their cost was more than 880 thousand rubles.
Regarding the facts, administrative process was initiated by Brest customs in accordance with the part 1 of article 14.5 of the administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of this article provides for a fine of 30 % of the cost of the subject of an administrative offense.
