The possibility of creating an integrated system for monitoring and analyzing scanograms of cargo inspection vehicles and the intellectual system for registration and control of goods sent through e-commerce – priority issues that were discussed today at a meeting of the Board of the Customs Committee of the Union State.
The event with the participation of representatives of the Belarusian Customs Service lead by the Chairman Yuri Senko and the Russian Customs Service, headed by Vladimir Bulavin, as well as State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota, was held in the State Customs Committee.
In the opening statement, Yuri Senko noted that the platform of the Customs Committee of the Union State is an effective tool for developing common approaches and coordinating positions on a wide range of issues in the field of customs administration, which subsequently give the expected results in practical activities of Departments and in functioning of the Belarus-Russia integration.
In addition to discussing the possibility of developing the integrated and intelligent systems, participants analyzed the implementation of decisions taken at the previous meeting of the Board, the work of the mobile groups of the customs services and the unified form of statistical reporting on mutual trade within the Union State.
All decisions on each of the issues were secured by the signing the Decisions of the Board of the Customs Committee of the Union State by the Heads of Customs Services.
