The Belarusian carrier, in violation of the law, imported from Russia a commercial consignment of foreign-made goods with a total value of more than 550 thousand rubles.
12.5 thousand units of various consumer goods were in a VOLKSWAGEN cargo vehicle, the movement of which was stopped by Gomel customs officers during a special operation on the Belarusian-Russian border.
The driver did not have the shipping documents required by law.
Upon the fact of illegal cargo transportation, the Gomel Customs has initiated an administrative process against the carrier in accordance with Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.
The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 50% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense. In this case, it will amount to 280 thousand rubles.
