The fact of deliberate non-declaration of a large batch of consumer goods was established by the staff of the Operational Customs
Operational Customs officers have established the fact of deliberate non-declaration of a large shipment of consumer goods that arrived from China in a Kazakh carrier's vehicle.
Customs officers stopped the truck during special operations. During the inspection, it turned out that information about 90 thousand units of cosmetics sets, storage boxes, lanterns, watches, lamps, bags, endoscopes and much more were not indicated in the shipping documents.
The cost of the undeclared goods amounted to more than 1.8 million rubles. And this is almost 583 thousand rubles of savings on customs payments.
The Operational Customs started the administrative process in accordance with Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.
The declarant of illegally imported goods will have to pay a fine of up to 30% of their value, as well as missing payments.
