Brest customs officers have identified an attempt to illegally import racing accessories from Poland to the territory of the EAEU.

The undeclared goods were transported in a Renault truck along with a legally imported batch of auto parts through the Kozlovichi checkpoint.

The customs officers determined that part of the goods was not listed in the documents based on the scan obtained during the inspection of the truck using the X-ray inspection complex.

For inspection, the vehicle was sent to the departmental customs clearance point, where about 660 "extra" racing accessories were installed.

Their cost is estimated at 435 thousand rubles, which is about 97 thousand rubles of unpaid customs duties.

Brest Customs has initiated an administrative process against the Polish carrier in accordance with Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 30% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
