Operational customs officers have established the fact of illegal importation of various goods worth 1.2 million rubles into Belarus on the Belarusian-Russian border

During a special operation on the Belarusian-Russian border aimed at protecting the domestic market, the officers of the Operational Customs established the fact of illegal importation of various goods into Belarus with a total value of 1.2 million rubles.

17 thousand pieces of clothing, shoes, covers, bags, cutlery and other items, traveling to individuals, were transported from the territory of Russia in the luggage compartments and trailer of a regular bus.

There were no documents for the transportation of such a quantity of goods, there was also no marking with control marks on them, respectively, the goods were not going to be delivered to the control points before being handed over to individuals, which is provided for by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus №297.

Administrative processes have been initiated in relation to the Belarusian legal entity that owns the bus, in accordance with art. 13.12, 13.24, 13.36 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.

The sanctions of all articles provide for a fine of up to 50% of the value of the subject of an administrative offense.
