The armored glass worth 64 thousand rubles was hidden from customs control by the driver of a cargo vehicle that imported passenger cars into the territory of the EAEU.
He crossed the customs border through the Kamenny Log checkpoint, where, during an oral interview, he explained that he did not move anything except the declared cars.
While inspecting the legally imported vehicles, Grodno customs officers found a glass for a Mercedes-Benz car belonging to the driver in one of them.
By not declaring the goods being transported, the Belarusian citizen intended to avoid paying customs duties in the amount of more than 20 thousand rubles.
A 35-year-old man was brought to administrative responsibility in accordance with Part 4 of Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus. He paid a fine of 6.3 thousand rubles.
