The victory of the Grodno regional Customs team ended the XVI championship of the customs authorities in the service all-around of dog handlers.
The second place was awarded to dog handlers from the Minsk regional customs, and the third - from Brest.
The competitions included a team competition and individual championships. On the first day, the best in the discipline "performing general obedience skills" were determined, and four-legged dog handlers demonstrated their skills in searching for narcotic drugs in passenger vehicles, luggage and hand luggage.
The second day was devoted to the search for prohibited substances in trucks and premises. At the final stage, the service dogs searched for drugs in public.
In the absolute championship according to the results of two disciplines "search for narcotic drugs" and "obedience", the first and second places were won by Natalia Evloshevich, a dog handler from the Grodno region, with her assistants Ikar, a German shepherd, and Frederica, a labrador, and Olga Shushkevich, a dog handler from the Minsk region, with Terry, a border collie.
