A citizen of the Republic of Belarus intended to import a commercial consignment of goods totaling more than 18 thousand Belarusian rubles from Ukraine to Belarus through the checkpoint "Novaya Rudnya".

During customs control, a 27-year-old Belarusian woman who travels abroad once or twice a month said that there is no need to declare any goods.


However, the Gomel customs officers found wedding dresses, fabrics, mink jackets, shoes, as well as cosmetics and perfume among the Belarusian's personal belongings. Based on the number of goods moved, which is about 200 units of various goods and more than 60 meters of fabric, they are subject to customs declaration and do not belong to goods for personal use.


The total weight of the illegally moved goods was 48 kilograms, the cost-more than 18 thousand Belarusian rubles.


A citizen of the Republic of Belarus was subjected to an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of 5 basic units.
