
Customs students showed their knowledge and skills in an intellectual game dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the customs service.
In the year of the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Belarusian customs, the intellectual game "The Best of the Best" was held on the basis of the departmental Institute of Customs Authorities, which was attended by third-year students of the specialty "customs" of higher education institutions of the country.
Four teams from the Belarusian State University, the Belarusian State University of Transport, the Belarusian National Technical University, and the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno demonstrated their skills in four stages of the competition.




In each of the stages, the guys again and again convinced the commission of their confident knowledge in the field of customs legislation, the ability to think correctly in non-standard situations and make reasoned decisions.
In the first stage of the game – "Homework" – the participants presented their vision of the customs of the future. Students showed a creative approach in the preparation of the task, reflecting the development prospects for 5, 10 and even 20 years.


In the second stage, the players demonstrated their skills in practical activities. This block included situational tasks in law enforcement and customs and tariff areas. The participants also "tried on" the roles of both an individual crossing the customs border of the EEU, and an official of the customs body that checks customs documents.
"Customs Quiz" included non-standard questions on customs topics on logic and creative thinking.
The final stage was a personal and team competition, in which the participants were offered a test and a practical task.
The winner of the intellectual game was the team of the Belarusian State University of Transport. The second place was taken by the team of the Belarusian National Technical University, the third-by the team of the Belarusian State University. The team of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno won in the nomination "For the will to Win".
