Within the framework of the Belarusian-Chinese intergovernmental cooperation Committee, a Commission on customs and quarantine cooperation was established.
The commission will become a practical platform for working out issues related to access to the markets of the People's Republic of China and the creation of logistics chains.
This mechanism of bilateral interaction will facilitate the establishment and development of contacts between the customs and quarantine authorities of both countries, the development and implementation of joint action plans, programs and roadmaps, the strengthening of mutually beneficial trade and production relations between enterprises and organizations of the two states.
In the current epidemiological conditions and given the fact that the markets of Belarus and China represent mutual interest for manufacturers and exporters of the two countries, a timely and operational address of issues related to minimizing regulative barriers in customs and quarantine relations is particularly relevant.
Customs as an important link in the public system plays the key role in securing simplified procedures of trade for bona fide participants of foreign economic activities
